How did we get here?

My first explorations with AI made me feel as if a bomb had exploded in my head. The promise and possibility were (and are) absurdly exciting. I couldn't sleep for days on end. It was a moment when everything seemed to change. I suddenly started measuring things in 'before and after'. I was EXCITED.

This is a talk I gave in that initial flush of discovery. The talk led somewhat directly to the founding of PictureStudio a few months later. Baukunst who hosted the talk is now our keystone pre-seed investor. I know a lot more now than I did then, but it's fun to have my first dip of a toe into the AI pool so well documented.
